Language helped the early humans to communicate. That helped them because they needed to have some conversations, to migrate, tell what they will do, give directions and tell them if they are going some where. Language would also help them to help each other fighting and hunting their food.

Tool making and Language
Tool making and language was a great thing in early humans. They needed tools for a lot of stuff. First for all food, water and shelter.Homo habilis made basic tools and also used them. They made tools special for digging. They used tools 800,000 years before than previously realized. The tool technology of Homo erectus and Homo heidelbergensis were same. Neanderthal made sophisticated(advanced) tools. They could get food with this tools because it made hunting easier because they could throw them. It made easy to get water because they could stop the river and transfer the water by that. It helped a lot for them to make a shelter(a house) because they could cut trees or other materials that can be used to make a shelter and that protected them from the bad weather.
Who were hobbits?
The Hobbits.Correct name Homo florensis is a hominid that is about 38,000 to 18,000 old or either 12,00 years old. But scientists don't know for sure.Hobbits have a small brain that is nearly the size of a modern chimpanzee. The thing that confuses scientists is the fact that anatomically the Hobbit has a small brain but tools and evidence of intelligence have been found where the paleontologists.in 2003, excavated a cave called Liang Bua on the Island of Flores, Indonesia. There were stone tools at the site that dates back to 94,000 years ago.Fossils of eight individuals have been discovered. The most compete hobbit was a female that stead three feet six inches tall.

Why Did Early Humans Start Walking On Two Feet?
There is several reasons why early humans started to walk ton two feet. One reason is that they didn't have balance on two foot. Another one is that they couldn't see the front or around and they needed that to be aware of what was happening near them. The third reason is that they could move faster and escape from danger much more easier. Also a reason is that they collected food this way because they could see where to search and find food.
The reason that I found that was most realistic for me was that they collected food on two feet because they needed food and it was easier on a biopedal position.

How does the use of fire demonstrate prehistoric people's ability to adapt to their environment?
FIRE
The use of fire demonstrate prehistoric people's ability to adapt to their environment because they show a way to provide light, warm weather so they don't freeze outside, cook their food like meat or animals that they found or hunted when they were scavenging.
It helps them when they have fire to create light and use it because they can go around search for food and also helps them see their families.
Fire helps prehistoric people to be warm because it gets cold at night and they don't want to freeze to death.
It shows prehistoric people abilities by knowing how to make a fire.Maybe using two sticks, rocks or something else to create a fire. It also shows that they are smart and can find a way to survive in the nature with the wild animals.

Reflection for Unit #1 (Understanding History + Archaeology)
What did you learn?
I learned how and archaeological dig was made and what procedure, equipment. Also saw that it was not as it seemed. I learned how the steps were made and what we would do with the evidence we found.
What did you find most interesting?
The most interesting part for me was one we went to the High School Campus for the dig. It was excited, interesting and a lot of fun.
What learning skills were you able to practice and how?
I needed to focus a lot because the information that was being told us was very important and we needed it. I managed by listening and asking questions.
What did you learn about your self?
That I could go on a dig and learn about the past easily if I do a very good job at listening.
